aespa member Winter shared her personal method of stress relief—finding joy in solo dining.

On December 8, GQ KOREA released a video titled, "Our Winter speaks so beautifully without shedding a tear."

In the video, Winter reflected, "2024 has been the busiest year of my life." When asked about the "magic words" that provided her with strength and comfort this year, she chose "puppies" and "ice cream."

"I watch puppy videos when I feel down," Winter shared. "I also really love gelato. Coming home to enjoy gelato after work kept me going. I'd think, 'I need to finish up and get back to enjoy some ice cream,' and that gave me energy." However, she added, "Pulling all-nighters for schedules has also taught me the bitter side of life."

Winter candidly admitted that she doesn't naturally lean toward positivity. "I'm not the most optimistic person. Some people find it easier to live positively, but for me, if I think too optimistically and fall short of expectations, I feel disappointed. So, I try to think as realistically as possible, though I wouldn't say I'm negative either."

Reflecting on aespa's win of three grand prizes at the 2024 Melon Music Awards (MMA) on December 2, Winter said, "One of my resolutions at the end of last year was to win a grand prize this year. And we did it! I feel like I've worked so hard and am so proud of myself. I'd tell myself, 'You did amazing, and let's do even better next year.'"

When asked if she often treats herself, Winter replied, "I love eating, so I indulge in delicious meals alone. There's a sense of comfort in eating solo. I enjoy my favorite foods at my own pace while watching something entertaining. That's how I de-stress."
