Singer and actress Im Yoon-ah has donated 100 million won to support medical treatment for children suffering from leukemia.
Recently, Im Yoon-ah contributed 100 million won to the Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer under her name, 'Im Yoon-ah,' and 'So Wonderful Day.'
'So Wonderful Day' was a birthday pop-up event held by Im Yoon-ah in May. As a way to give back to her fans for their love, she hosted the event for free.
Im Yoon-ah added her personal funds to the total revenue generated from MD (merchandise) sales during the event. She personally selected the recipient for the donation, choosing the 'Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer' through the 'Community Chest of Korea.'
Im Yoon-ah became a member of the Honor Society, a group of large-scale donors, back in 2015. Since then, she has been recognized for her continuous charitable efforts.
Every year, she has participated in various charitable activities, including donations for year-end fundraisers, narrating for the visually impaired, special funding for children aging out of foster care, and serving as a cover model for homeless support initiatives.
Im Yoon-ah is set to meet audiences in the upcoming movie 'Pretty Crazy' (directed by Lee Sang-geun), where she will star alongside Ahn Bo-hyun in a romantic comedy horror film.
