[Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin] Actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin have begun a fierce clash over the truth regarding a single memory.
MBC-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama "Liar" (screenplay by Baek Jae-young, directed by Cho Young-min) aired its first episode on the 30th. It started with a viewership rating of 1.9% based on Nielsen Korea.
"Liar" is a story in which two men and women make completely opposite claims about a single memory and collide fiercely in pursuit of the truth.
After the perfect first date between Min Junho (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and Kang Ji-seon (played by Seo Hyun-jin), a shocking incident unfolds.
Kang Ji-seon reported Min Junho on charges of sexual assault. Min Junho was taken into emergency custody by police. From that point on, the two began to tell completely opposite stories about a single memory.
The episode ended with the two kissing. Curiosity heightened as to what the truth of that day was and which of them was lying.
In episode 2, the two's claims are set to clash more in earnest. It will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 31st.
