On April 25, his agency INB100 dropped a surprise teaser on social media, announcing Baekhyun's 5th mini-album 'Essence of Reverie' and building major anticipation among fans.

The teaser clip, running for about 11 seconds, showed an elevator appearing in a mysterious, dreamy space.

When the elevator doors opened, pillow-shaped plushies poured out, creating a whimsical, surreal vibe.

The teaser was filled with hidden clues about the new album — including various letters, drawings, and the words "Essence of Reverie" scribbled on the elevator walls.

🎶 8 Months Since His Last Release — A New Chapter for Baekhyun

Baekhyun's comeback comes approximately eight months after his fourth mini-album 'Hello, World', where he showcased his versatile vocal color and artistry.

INB100 shared, "Baekhyun will reveal an even more distinct musical identity through this album. Fans can look forward to a perfectly crafted genre that's 100% Baekhyun."
