K-content continues to dominate Netflix's global stage. According to the latest Netflix Top 10 chart (as of April 16), six out of the top 10 non-English series are Korean productions.
🔥 K-dramas take the lead
Netflix original series Karma (written and directed by Lee Il-hyung) and When Life Gives You Tangerines (written by Lim Sang-choon, directed by Kim Won-seok) placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Karma saw a jump of three spots from last week, gaining attention with its intricate web of character connections. Meanwhile, When Life Gives You Tangerines has impressively stayed in the top ranks for six consecutive weeks.
🎭 Reality and other platforms make waves too
Wild Kian's Inn, the only variety show on the list, debuted at #6 with its unpredictable humor and refreshing format.
Non-Netflix K-content also made the cut—Weak Hero Class 1 (from Wavve) landed at #7, U+ Mobile TV's The Good Rivalry came in at #9, and tvN's Resident Playbook wrapped up the top 10.
K-content's continued global popularity highlights its storytelling range—from gritty thrillers to heartfelt comedies and variety.
