Actor Lee Seung-gi has filed a legal complaint against an investment website that illegally used his likeness for promotional purposes.
📸 Misleading Ads with Lee Seung-gi's Photo
On April 15, Big Planet Made Entertainment stated, "We've confirmed that an online investment platform has used Lee Seung-gi's image without permission. Legal steps against the site's operator are currently underway."
The unauthorized site reportedly featured Lee Seung-gi's photos as if he were a brand ambassador, using his face in various investment promotions to attract users to events and services he has no affiliation with.
❌ "No Connection to the Site"
The agency clarified, "Lee Seung-gi has absolutely no connection to the platform or its services. We urge the public not to be misled by these deceptive advertisements."
⚖️ Zero Tolerance for Image Theft
A company representative added, "We've already sent a formal notice to the operator and are currently pursuing civil and criminal legal actions."
The agency concluded with a strong warning: "We will not tolerate any illegal use of Lee Seung-gi's image. We're committed to protecting our artist and preventing public harm."
