🥇 Triple Platinum Achievement — First Time for a SEVENTEEN Single
On April 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) revealed its March Gold Disc certifications. SEVENTEEN's 4th Japanese single, Ima - Shouhikigen (今 -消費期限), officially received Triple Platinum status, meaning over 750,000 units shipped.
This is SEVENTEEN's first single to achieve this honor. Just four months ago, the track was certified Double Platinum, and sales have since soared by another 250,000 copies.
💿 SEVENTEEN's Gold Disc Collection Grows
With this latest accolade, SEVENTEEN now holds five albums certified Triple Platinum or higher in Japan, including their Korean mini album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.
The single Ima -Expiration Date- dropped on November 27, 2024, immediately topping the Oricon Daily Singles Chart. It continued to reign on the Weekly Singles and Weekly Combined Rankings, proving SEVENTEEN's enduring popularity in Japan.
🗓️ Upcoming Fan Meeting in Japan
SEVENTEEN will greet fans in person later this month. The group is scheduled to hold a large-scale fan meeting at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on April 24, 26, and 27.
