'The Firstfruit' proves Mark's solo power — from Korea to Brazil
🎧 A Solo Debut that Hit Hard
Mark of NCT has officially made his solo mark — and fans around the world are loving it. On April 7, he dropped his first solo album, The Firstfruit, and it's already dominating major music charts both in Korea and internationally.
The title track '1999' instantly hit No.1 on Bugs' real-time chart, while peaking at No.3 on Melon's HOT 100 (within 30 days of release). On physical charts, the album ranked No.1 on Hanteo and Circle Chart's Retail Album Chart.
🌍 Global Chart Sweep — 14 Countries at No.1
The Firstfruit isn't just trending in Korea. It topped iTunes Top Album Charts in 14 countries, including Brazil, Chile, Vietnam, Russia, and Thailand.
It also snagged No.1 on QQ Music's Digital Album Sales chart in China and No.1 on Japan's AWA Rising Chart.
Even on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, Mark debuted at No.2, right behind global icons Elton John and Brandi Carlile — an impressive feat for a rookie soloist.
🎤 A Showcase to Remember
Mark celebrated his release with a special showcase at FB Theater in Seongsu, Seoul, on the day of his album drop. He performed '1999' and several B-side tracks, showcasing his evolved artistry and personal storytelling.
He shared:
"This album holds my truest feelings. Through the long production process, I got to know myself even better. I hope it resonates with you too."
He also thanked fans for their love:
"I was super nervous, but your support means everything. This is just the beginning — I'll give it my all, so stay tuned!"
📻 New Radio Show Launch: on your MARK
