Actress Kim Go-eun has stepped up to help earthquake victims in Myanmar, donating 50 million KRW (approx. $37,000 USD) for emergency relief.
🆘 Emergency Aid for Food, Essentials, and Psychological Support
On April 2, child rights organization Good Neighbors shared that Kim Go-eun contributed to aid residents affected by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28.
The donation will be used to provide food, daily necessities, and psychological care for children in affected areas including central and northern Myanmar and Bangkok, Thailand.

Kim Go-eun said, "My heart ached upon hearing the news of people losing their homes in an instant. I send my deepest support to the residents grieving in the aftermath."
Good Neighbors added, "We are sincerely grateful for Kim Go-eun's meaningful donation. We promise to deliver timely help to those whose lives were disrupted by this disaster."
🌟 A Star Known for Her Steady Kindness
Kim has consistently used her platform for good. Just last week, she donated another 50 million KRW to aid victims of wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang.
In 2023, she contributed 30 million KRW to emergency relief efforts for the Türkiye-Syria earthquakes. Back in 2020, she donated 100 million KRW to families hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic.
She's also a member of the The Neighbors Honors Club, a prestigious group of high-impact donors recognized for their continued philanthropic work.

The devastating earthquake that hit Myanmar on March 28 has, as of April 2 (KST), claimed around 2,700 lives, with over 4,500 injured.
