Stray Kids stepped up with a generous donation to support wildfire recovery, pledging a total of 800 million KRW (approx. $590,000) to help victims of the recent massive wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang provinces.
On April 1, Stray Kids donated 400 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and another 400 million KRW to World Vision Korea. The funds will go toward emergency supplies, living expenses for displaced residents, and support for frontline firefighters.
💬 "We deeply empathize with the pain"
Through JYP Entertainment, the members shared:
"We deeply empathize with the pain of those who lost their everyday lives in an instant. We want to sincerely thank everyone working tirelessly in the affected regions."
🌍 Consistent acts of kindness
Stray Kids have long been committed to giving back. Since 2014, they've supported overseas children, provided meal kits to vulnerable communities in Korea, and made regular personal donations.
In 2023, the group donated to Syria–Turkey earthquake relief efforts. In 2024, they contributed to global food crisis programs. Most recently, some members donated 100 million KRW each in honor of their birthdays.
