A woman in her 30s who threatened and defamed actress Han Ji-min online has been forwarded to prosecutors without detention, according to the Gangnam Police Department on March 28.

The suspect, referred to as A, allegedly posted 19 malicious messages targeting Han Ji-min on her personal social media between September and October 2024.
Posts included threats such as:
"I'll sabotage any movie Han Ji-min appears in,"
along with 11 counts of defamation and 8 counts of threats.

Han Ji-min's agency, BH Entertainment, filed an official complaint in November 2024, stating:
"We confirmed a continuous pattern of malicious slander, personal attacks, and the spread of unfounded rumors."
They made it clear from the start: "There will be no settlement or leniency."
