"We just wanted to show how much we've grown." — Sungjun
After a year-long hiatus, TNX is back—and this comeback hits different. With major shifts in their lineup and a bold leap into self-producing territory, the group enters a whole new era.
💿 New Chapter: 'For Real?'
TNX held their showcase on March 26 at YES24 Wonder Hall in Seoul, unveiling their 4th mini-album For Real?. It features five tracks:
- 'For Real?' (Title)
- 'Perfect Danger'
- 'What If'
- 'In the Crack of Time'
- 'Winter, Then Spring'
🎤 A Love Song with a Twist
The title track 'For Real?' is a love song—but not your typical one.
"It's a theme everyone knows, but we tried to tell it in our own way," said Eunhwi, who wrote the lyrics. "I imagined how each member might express love, in their own awkward, sincere way."
Junhyeok added, "The phrase 'For real?' is something we say all the time—it felt naturally expressive of that overwhelming feeling you get when you're crushing hard."
🎧 All-In on Self-Production
This time, it's all TNX. Every track includes member credits. Eunhwi participated in composing and writing all five songs.
The track 'Winter, Then Spring' is especially personal—it was written by all members, expressing their thoughts on the long hiatus.
"Winter felt like that cold, frozen stretch of time," Junhyeok said. "But 'THANKX' (our fandom) came back like spring, melting everything away."
🎵 Their Identity? Diversity.
Rather than box themselves into one concept or genre, TNX leaned into their strength—versatility.
"We've done so many styles since debut," Sungjun said. "Now we know how to adapt and really enjoy the stage, no matter the genre."
🤝 Trusting Themselves
The shift to self-production didn't come easy.
"At first, it was intimidating," Eunhwi admitted. "But once we started talking and creating together, I thought, 'Why didn't we do this sooner?'"
The group took the leap with full conviction.
"We asked ourselves, 'What kind of idol do we want to be?'" Eunhwi said. "And the answer was clear—an idol that produces their own music."
🔥 The Start of Something Real
With For Real?, TNX isn't just back—they're reborn.
"It feels like we're finally showing the real us," they said. "This is only the beginning."
