Korean celebrities are stepping up to help wildfire victims.
As massive wildfires ravage parts of Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Ulsan, the entertainment world is joining the relief efforts with generous donations.
💸 Stars Taking Action
On March 26, Suzy and Lee Chan-won each donated ₩100 million (approx. $75,000).
Suzy said,
"I wanted to share my heart in this desperate time. I hope the fires are quickly contained and people can return to their daily lives."
Lee Chan-won, who was born in Ulsan, said the disaster hit close to home.
"Because the fire broke out in my hometown, I was especially heartbroken. I hope everyone stays safe and can welcome spring with warmth."
Go Min-si also donated ₩50 million, sharing,
"Seeing the damage grow day by day has been so difficult. Now's the time for us to come together. I hope many others will join in helping."

On March 25, Haechan (NCT), Im Si-wan, Soyoujin, and WINNER's Kim Jin-woo added their support.
- Haechan donated ₩50M
- Im Si-wan and Soyoujin gave ₩30M each
- Kim Jin-woo contributed ₩10M
Haechan shared,
"I was heartbroken hearing about those affected. I wanted to help in any way I could."
Im Si-wan said,
"I can't imagine how painful it must be to lose your home. I'm hoping this small gesture can be of help."
Kim Jin-woo added,
"Rather than doing nothing, I chose what I could do right now. I hope it reaches where it's needed."
Comedian and national MC Yoo Jae-suk donated ₩50M on March 24.
Actress Chun Woo-hee gave ₩40M and sent love to first responders, saying,
"I hope this helps support the brave firefighters working on the frontlines."

The wildfire outbreak began on March 21, devastating areas across the Yeongnam region.
- 14 people died in Gyeongbuk, and 4 in Gyeongnam
- Over 209 locations were damaged
- More than 27,000 people were displaced
