'NCT' TEN is officially back with his solo mini album STUNNER, showing off his upgraded musical vibes.
On March 24, TEN released his new album STUNNER on major streaming platforms, marking his solo comeback after a year. "If my first solo album TEN was about finding my style, STUNNER is more refined," TEN shared.
The title track STUNNER is a pop R&B track filled with groovy rhythms, synth sounds, and TEN's unique tone. Fans can enjoy both Korean and English versions.
"I wanted to blend minor and major vibes without it feeling too light. STUNNER ended up being that perfect balance," he added.
The album also features TEN's favorite track Waves. "It gives off this calming beach vibe I love. Honestly, it's the first time I thought, 'Wow, my vocal tone sounds pretty good,'" he laughed.
Get ready, because TEN is also kicking off his first solo tour in April, starting in Seoul and heading to Bangkok, Shanghai, Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Nagoya.
💬 Full Q&A with NCT TEN — Dive Deeper into STUNNER
Q. How does it feel to make a comeback after a year?
TEN: After my first solo album, I had time to reflect on what I want to try next and what I needed to improve. STUNNER feels more organized, and I hope my fans love it as much as I do.
Q. What did you focus on the most while working on this album?
TEN: My last title Nightwalker had a darker vibe. This time, I wanted something between minor and major. I pushed myself—rapping fast in BAMBOLA, trying sing-rap in Sweet As Sin, and doing a Korean ballad Butterfly. It took courage, but I'm proud.
Q. What's the charm of your title track STUNNER?
TEN: You get both Korean and English versions with different vibes. Funny enough, STUNNER wasn't the original title track, but the more I listened, the more I felt this was THE song. It perfectly captures that minor-major balance I aimed for.
Q. Can you share a performance highlight from STUNNER?
TEN: The choreography is powerful, hip, yet chill. We brainstormed a lot—especially the chorus, gestures, and flow. It was teamwork that made the performance stand out.
Q. Any memorable moments during production?
TEN: Honestly, it took ages to gather the right songs. I listened to so many demos, changed track orders, and worked closely with the A&R team. Recording Butterfly was tough—my first full Korean ballad—but it helped me grow.
Q. Your favorite track?
TEN:Waves—it's calming, reminds me of the ocean, and makes me feel at peace. Plus, it's the first time I thought my vocal tone sounded really pretty.
Q. You're kicking off your first solo tour soon. Thoughts?
TEN: Super excited! We're reworking choreography and stage effects to give fans the best experience. Can't wait to share this journey with everyone.
Q. What do you hope fans take away from STUNNER?
TEN: I've been focusing on enjoying every day, and I hope this album lifts your mood and brings you joy. Let's create happy memories together—and welcome to any new fans!
