Lee Jun-young is adding a fresh twist to the Netflix hit When Life Gives You Tangerines!
The actor made his entrance in Part 2 of the series, which dropped on March 14. Lee plays Park Young-beom, a sweet and devoted boyfriend to IU's character, Yang Geum-myung.
🌸 Love at First Sight — Meet Park Young-beom
Young-beom is a Seoul National University student who falls head over heels for Geum-myung at first sight during the school's entrance ceremony. From that moment on, his eyes are only for her—giving off total green flag energy.
The story takes a cute turn as Young-beom enlists in the military but can't resist showing up on campus just to see Geum-myung. A run-in with Kwan-sik (played by Park Hae-joon), Geum-myung's father, adds a dose of awkward humor as Young-beom fumbles in front of the grumpy dad.
🎭 Lee Jun-young's Emotional Performance Wins Hearts
Lee perfectly portrays Young-beom's one-sided but unwavering love. Even after being rejected eight times (yes, eight!), he remains loyal, capturing viewers with his pure-hearted charm.
His agency shared, "Lee Jun-young is showcasing the solid acting skills he's built up over the years. His performance will definitely raise anticipation for what's coming next."
🌿 What's When Life Gives You Tangerines About?
The drama follows Ae-soon (IU) and Kwan-sik (Park Bo-gum) as they navigate life's seasons—literally and emotionally. Part 3 of the series drops on March 21.
