Sangyeon of The Boyz has officially begun his military service.
On March 17, his agency One Hundred confirmed that Sangyeon enlisted as an active-duty soldier at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungcheongnam-do.

After five weeks of basic military training, Sangyeon will continue his service as a member of the military band.
The Boyz members gathered to send off their eldest member, showing their support as he embarks on this new chapter.
💬 A Message to Fans
Sangyeon shared his thoughts ahead of enlistment:
"Being the first to enlist feels both nerve-wracking and surreal. I promise to stay healthy and return well."
🎶 A Multi-Talented Artist
Since his 2017 debut with The Boyz, Sangyeon has been a key vocalist, leading hit tracks like 'Whisper,' 'ROAR,' and 'Trigger.'
He also made a name for himself in musicals, starring in productions like 'Crash Landing on You' (Japan) and 'Bloody Love.'
🎤 A Busy Schedule Before Enlistment
Before his departure, Sangyeon stayed active, holding his first solo fan meeting on March 8 titled '2025 Film Open: Sangyeon Exhibition'.
Meanwhile, The Boyz' third full album, 'Unexpected', featuring Sangyeon, drops today (March 17) at 6 PM KST.
