On the 26th, JTBC unveiled behind-the-scenes images from the script reading session for its upcoming weekend drama, Heavenly Ever After, penned by Lee Nam-gyu & Kim Su-jin and directed by Kim Seok-yoon.

The drama tells the whimsical yet deeply emotional story of Lee Hae-sook (Kim Hye-ja), who enters heaven at the age of 80, only to find her husband, Go Nak-joon (Son Suk-ku), waiting for her in his 30s.

The reading session gathered director Kim Seok-yoon, the writers, and an impressive lineup including Kim Hye-ja, Son Suk-ku, Han Ji-min, Lee Jung-eun, Chun Ho-jin, and Ryu Deok-hwan.

🔹 Kim Hye-ja commands the screen as Lee Hae-sook, perfectly embodying the complexities of a woman who has seen decades of life—balancing charisma, warmth, and a mischievous spirit.
