Hats 2 Hearts is collaborating with Catch! Teenieping, one of Korea's most beloved animated characters.

Strategic Partnership for K-Pop & Animation Synergy

On February 17, SM Entertainment and SAMG Entertainment signed a strategic partnership agreement (MOU) at SM's headquarters in Seongsu, Seoul. SAMG is the studio behind Catch! Teenieping, a hugely popular character among Korean children.

This collaboration marks an innovative fusion of K-pop and character IPs. SM Entertainment shared its excitement about the project, calling it a groundbreaking synergy between music and animation.

Hats 2 Hearts x Catch! Teenieping: A Unique Collaboration

The first project under this partnership will feature rookie girl group Hats 2 Hearts, who will collaborate with the Catch! Teenieping franchise. Fans can expect a variety of exclusive content and official merchandise inspired by this collaboration.

Global Expansion Plans

Both companies aim to expand into global markets, including Southeast Asia, China, and Japan. The joint project will kick off in summer 2025, with a series of new collaboration content.

Hats 2 Hearts' Debut on February 24

Meanwhile, Hats 2 Hearts is set to make their official debut on February 24. The eight-member group consists of Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Jueun, Aina, Ian, and Yeon.

Their debut single, The Chase, features two tracks: "The Chase" and "Butterflies". With their fresh concept and high-energy performances, they're ready to take the K-pop scene by storm.
