J-Hope of BTS has once again demonstrated his generosity, donating 200 million KRW (approx. 150,000 USD) to support the development of a children's hospital in Seoul.
A Meaningful Birthday Contribution
On February 18, in honor of his birthday, J-Hope made a 200 million KRW donation to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The donation will go toward improving medical facilities, enhancing pediatric care, and funding research on severe and rare pediatric diseases.
"I hope this can provide even a small bit of support to children going through difficult times," said J-Hope. "I sincerely hope they can grow up healthy and dream of a bright future."
A Commitment to Continuous Giving
J-Hope also expressed his desire to continue giving back:
"I want to repay the love I've received from ARMY. Starting with this year's birthday, I plan to continue making donations annually. It's truly meaningful to me."
A History of Generous Donations
J-Hope has consistently supported charitable causes over the years.
- January 2024 – Donated 100 million KRW to aid victims of the Jeju Air accident.
- 2023 – Contributed 100 million KRW to assist earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
- 2022 – Donated 100 million KRW to Seoul Asan Medical Center.
- 2021 – Provided 100 million KRW to support children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Since debuting with BTS, J-Hope has donated over 1.2 billion KRW (900,000 USD), proving his unwavering commitment to making a difference.
Upcoming Tour: "J-Hope Tour – Hope on the Stage"
Meanwhile, J-Hope is set to embark on his highly anticipated solo tour. He will hold three concerts from February 28 to March 2 at KSPO Dome in Seoul, before traveling to 15 cities worldwide for 31 performances.
