Rookie boy group KickFlip is making waves! They received a Hanteo Chart First Week Sales Certification for selling 276,881 copies of their debut mini-album Flip it, Kick it! in just one week after its release on January 20.
The Hanteo Chart Certification is awarded to artists who exceed a certain number of sales based on verified first-week data. By surpassing 200,000 sales, KickFlip solidified their spot as one of the most promising K-pop rookies.
Even before its official release, Flip it, Kick it! generated high expectations among K-pop fans as the debut project from JYP Entertainment's newest group.
The mini-album features six tracks, including the title track Mama Said (What's the Plan?), pre-release track Yeah Right, and fan-favorite Knock Knock.
Mama Said (What's the Plan?) stands out with its addictive melody and witty lyrics that humorously push back against nagging voices, offering a sense of freedom and self-empowerment.
KickFlip's energetic choreography further enhances their appeal. With powerful moves and catchy point dances, the group has earned the title of "Next-Gen K-pop Stage Kings."
In addition to their chart success, KickFlip recently surpassed 1 million followers on their official TikTok channel, expanding their global influence.
