BLACKPINK's Jennie will be honored at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 ceremony, taking home the prestigious Global Force Award.
On February 13 (KST), Billboard unveiled the list of winners for this year's event. Jennie was recognized for her "explosive global impact," solidifying her status as a global powerhouse in the music industry.
Billboard Women in Music celebrates women who have made significant contributions to the music industry, including artists, creators, producers, and executives.
Along with Jennie, this year's winners include Angela Aguilar, Erykah Badu, Gloria, Megan Moroney, Meghan Trainor, and Tyla, all of whom will be honored at the ceremony.
Jennie recently entered the Billboard Hot 100 with her single Mantra, which stayed on the chart for two weeks. Her follow-up single Love Hangover peaked at No. 96.
Fans are eagerly awaiting her first full-length solo album, set for release on March 7. The album's title track, Ruby, will be accompanied by a pre-release single, building anticipation for her comeback.
Billboard Women in Music 2025 will take place on March 30 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
