Zerobaseone (ZB1) is taking Japan by storm!
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), ZB1's debut EP PREZENT surpassed 250,000 cumulative shipments as of January, earning Platinum certification just two weeks after its release.
The RIAJ awards Gold Disc certifications based on cumulative album shipments: Gold (100K), Platinum (250K), Double Platinum (500K), Triple Platinum (750K), and Million (1M).
Released on January 29, PREZENT set a new record for ZB1, with 257,000 copies sold in the first week. The album topped both the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and the Weekly Combined Album Ranking.
ZB1 dominated multiple charts across Japan, including:
- Billboard Japan Top Album Sales – No. 1
- Hot Albums Chart – No. 1
- Artist 100 Chart – No. 2
- Download Album Chart – No. 9
- Tower Records Album Chart – No. 1
- LINE Music Daily K-Pop Album Chart – No. 1
PREZENT is a heartfelt gift from ZB1 to their fans, ZEROs, featuring six tracks: four original Japanese songs and Japanese versions of two of their Korean hits.
Meanwhile, ZB1 is set to release their fifth mini-album Blue Paradise on February 24 at 6 PM (KST), continuing the Paradise series with its second installment.
