'Fan Letter + Concert' Jungkook and J-Hope Are Taking Action

BTS is gearing up for their long-awaited full-group comeback. As the members' activities and plans are gradually revealed, fans' excitement is reaching new heights.

On January 8, Jungkook shared a heartfelt message on the fan communication platform Weverse, saying,
"My New Year's greeting is a bit late. This year marks the year of our discharges and reunions. As always, my heart is just filled with longing to see you all. I'm simply waiting for that moment."

He continued,
"If there's something I want to do as soon as possible, it's to take time to learn various things and focus on growth, all for ARMY (the fandom). I want to say that my longing to see everyone is making me feel a little overwhelmed."

Jungkook, who enlisted in December 2023 alongside fellow member Jimin, is currently serving in the 5th Infantry Division of the Army and will be discharged on June 11. With just five months left until his discharge, his aspirations are clearly reflected in his message. Not only Jungkook but all members currently serving in the military are expected to complete their duties and be released by June, signaling that BTS's full-group comeback is drawing near.

The group's oldest members, Jin and J-Hope, were discharged last year and have already begun paving the way for both solo and group activities. Jin participated in the BTS Festa event last year and held a fan concert, while J-Hope is set to embark on his first solo world tour starting in February. He will kick off the tour at the largest concert venue in Korea, the KSPO Dome, before heading to major cities around the world, including Brooklyn, Chicago, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Osaka. The tour will consist of 31 concerts across 15 cities—a packed schedule that highlights his strong work ethic.

BTS officially entered a group hiatus in December 2023 as all members began their mandatory military service. However, during this break, the members sequentially released solo albums that achieved remarkable global success, proving that their popularity remains as strong as ever.

Now in their 12th year since debuting, BTS continues to demonstrate their musical prowess and enduring influence. Despite the members' absence, the 2023–2024 BTS Festa event attracted tens of thousands of fans, showing ARMY's unwavering passion and loyalty.

In response to this love from fans, BTS is slowly preparing to repay them. As time passes, the long-awaited full-group reunion is set to happen in 2025. With BTS and ARMY's strong bond still intact, the anticipation for their complete return continues to grow.
