BLACKPINK's Rosé Shares New Year Message

On January 7, BLACKPINK member Rosé shared a heartfelt New Year message through her personal account.

"2024 was the most challenging yet rewarding year," she began.

She continued, "I worked on a lot of music. There were many moments when I felt like I couldn't reach where I wanted to be, and this journey hasn't been easy. But I had incredible friends by my side. I was able to leave 2024 with pride after releasing my first album."

"I want to thank everyone who supported and loved Rosie. It became an unforgettable year," she wrote. "Now, I'm ready to move forward to 2025. Let's get started!"

Last month, on December 6, Rosé released her first full-length album Rosie, for which she participated in writing and composing all tracks. The album's pre-release single APT., featuring pop star Bruno Mars, sparked a global sensation.

The track debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard HOT 100 chart for the week of January 11, making Rosé the first K-pop female soloist to enter the Top 5 on the chart.
