TXT Mourns Jeju Air Tragedy: "Preparing with Heavy Hearts"

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has extended their condolences to the victims of the Jeju Air tragedy at Muan Airport. Despite the somber news, the group will proceed with their scheduled performances in Japan.

On November 30, TXT shared, "We pray for the souls of all those who lost their lives in this tragic accident and express our deepest condolences to those who suddenly lost their loved ones."

The members stated, "We are preparing for our scheduled performances with heavy hearts. We will take the stage with deep respect and a spirit of mourning."

TXT departed for Japan on November 28 in preparation for their participation in NHK's Kōhaku Uta Gassen, Japan's premier music festival, airing on December 31. The group learned of the tragic news after their departure.

The Jeju Air crash, which occurred on November 29 during the plane's landing at Muan Airport, resulted in a collision with the airport barrier and a subsequent explosion, leaving 179 of the 181 passengers dead.
