Lee Seung-gi and The Boyz Share Warmth Through Year-End Volunteer Work
Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, along with The Boyz members Hyunjae, Jacob, and Kevin, brought warmth to the community on December 27 by visiting the Jongno Senior Welfare Center under the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The group participated in meal-serving volunteer work at the center's cafeteria, catering to the elderly in Jongno District.
Lee Seung-gi, who recently portrayed a head monk at Baegyangsa Temple in the film About Family, visited the elderly in Jongno District, the setting of the movie, to share the spirit of giving during the holiday season.
Lee has maintained a longstanding connection with the center through consistent donations and volunteer activities. Earlier this year, he received recognition for his contributions to the community, earning an award in the Welfare Contributor category at the Superstar Jongno event hosted by the center.
Lee Seung-gi teamed up with The Boyz members Jacob, Hyunjae, and Kevin to participate in meal-serving volunteer work at the senior cafeteria of the Jongno Senior Welfare Center. Together, they served carefully prepared meals and shared heartfelt moments with the elderly in the community.
Lee Seung-gi expressed his gratitude, saying, "It was fulfilling to share warmth with those in need during the year-end season. Seeing so many people enjoy the meals made me happy. It was even more meaningful to do this with The Boyz. I hope the new year brings more joy to many people."
Venerable Jeonggwan, the director of the welfare center, thanked them, stating, "Despite the cold weather, Lee Seung-gi and The Boyz practiced community sharing through their meal service. I hope their continued connection with the welfare center becomes a great support for the local community."
