Song Hye-kyo, Jeon Yeo-been, Lee Jin-uk, and Moon Woo-jin Unite for "The Priests 2: Dark Nuns"
An exciting ensemble cast is set to bring diverse characters to life in the upcoming film The Priests 2: Dark Nuns(directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae), a story about individuals performing a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful demon.
Song Hye-kyo stars as Sister Eunia, a seemingly cold character with a heartfelt determination to save the boy at all costs. Her unyielding personality and fearless resolve make her a key figure in the story as she defies opposition and embraces danger.
Her dynamic with Jeon Yeo-been is one of the film's highlights. Jeon plays Sister Michaela, who initially resents Eunia's bold request for help but gradually becomes moved by her sincerity.
Lee Jin-uk portrays Father Paolo, a man of strong convictions who opposes Eunia's methods, believing in medical treatment over exorcism as the solution to save the boy. Meanwhile, Moon Woo-jin plays Hee-joon, the boy in peril. Despite enduring numerous failed treatments, he clings to a will to live.
A production representative stated, "The cast's synergy is incredible. The complex relationships and contrasting decisions surrounding the boy will captivate viewers."
The Priests 2: Dark Nuns is set to premiere in theaters on January 24.
