Actors Lee Se-young and Na In-woo are set to deliver heart-fluttering moments.
On December 17, MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'Motel California' (written by Lee Seo-yoon, directed by Kim Hyung-min and Lee Jae-jin) released its romantic teaser, capturing the essence of a 23-year-long first love story.
The 32-second teaser begins with childhood glimpses of Ji Kang-hee (played by Lee Se-young) and Cheon Yeon-soo (played by Na In-woo). The two are seen catching snowflakes in their mouths as they promise to marry each other.
Their teenage years follow, filled with sweet and playful dates. They make pinky promises and lean on each other's shoulders, showcasing a tender and innocent love.
However, the teaser shifts as the pair reunites as adults. Yeon-soo's transformed appearance draws attention, but Kang-hee coldly turns away from him, unable to accept the changes in her once beloved first love.
Despite this, Yeon-soo passionately confesses, "You were my first. So, I'll wait for you, I will." He embraces Kang-hee tightly, heightening curiosity about the unfolding story of their rekindled first love.
Motel California tells the tale of a woman who grew up in a countryside motel and reunites with her first love in her hometown, which she fled 12 years ago. The drama is set to premiere on January 10, 2025.
