BTS's V has entered the Billboard main chart with a Christmas carol.
On December 17, Billboard released its latest chart (dated December 21). V and Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas' debuted at No. 93 on the Hot 100.
This marks V's second consecutive week on Billboard's main singles chart, following his duet 'Winter Ahead' with Park Hyo Shin, which entered at No. 99 last week.
V now holds six solo tracks that have charted on the Hot 100. This year alone, three songs – 'FRI(END)S,' 'Winter Ahead,' and 'White Christmas' – have made it onto the chart.
Notably, V achieved this success without any official promotion. Currently serving in the Military Police Special Task Force, his immense popularity has made his absence virtually unnoticeable.
'White Christmas,' released on December 6, is a timeless classic originally introduced in 1942. V offered a heartfelt reinterpretation of the song, which continues to resonate globally.
V and Bing Crosby's collaboration delivered an extraordinary harmony, blending their warm baritone voices beautifully and leaving a deep impression on listeners worldwide.
