NCT's Mark is set to showcase his unique solo charm.

Mark will release his new single "Fraktsiya" featuring Lee Young-ji on December 16 at 6 PM KST via global music platforms. The music video will simultaneously premiere on the SM Town YouTube channel.

The new track is a hip-hop song with house-inspired chord progressions, a heavy 808 bass, and an intensely repetitive synthesizer sound. It incorporates elements of UK drill, a subgenre of hip-hop.

Mark brings forth a sharp rapping style and a unique flair not previously seen. The lyrics metaphorically portray Mark and Lee Young-ji's presence in both K-pop and hip-hop worlds as "Fraktsiya" (a spy or infiltrator).

Mark shared, "I began working on this track while reflecting on my place in K-pop and thinking about the various roles I've taken on in life. I felt that Young-ji has a similar character to mine, so I asked her to collaborate."

He added, "I believed there would be a unique chemistry between us, and 'Fraktsiya' proves I wasn't wrong. I'm so grateful to her for joining me on this project."

Finally, Mark expressed excitement about the release: "I'm thrilled to finally present a new single. I hope fans who've been waiting for it will enjoy it.
