ENHYPEN's Jungwon has personally denied dating rumors involving aespa's Winter, expressing his discomfort over the speculation.

On December 12, during a live session on the fan platform Weverse, Jungwon addressed fans, saying, "I saw comments asking if I'm dating. I'm not dating anyone."

He added, "I've also seen questions about whether I smoke. I don't smoke either. I don't know how those who spread such claims plan to deal with this, but let me be clear: I'm neither dating nor smoking. It's absolutely ridiculous," expressing his frustration.

The rumors began on December 11, when online claims surfaced alleging that Winter and Jungwon were seen together at a whiskey bar in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul.

The original post claimed, "They must be happy since they'll likely have many overlapping schedules toward the end of the year. Winter got into a taxi first, and then Yang Jungwon followed after," describing the alleged situation. The post also included photos of two individuals, presumed to be Winter and Jungwon, wearing masks and hats to conceal their faces.

In response, SM Entertainment, Winter's agency, firmly denied the rumors, stating, "The dating rumors are completely unfounded. The individual who spread the photos attempted to contact a media outlet for financial gain. When the outlet refused to assist with monetary-driven claims, they maliciously distributed the content. We will take legal action against this."

BELIFT LAB, ENHYPEN's agency, also denied the claims, stating, "The dating rumors are not true. BELIFT LAB will take strong measures against actions that invade the artist's privacy or create and spread malicious rumors."
