Stray Kids are set to wrap up the year with a packed schedule.
The group will release their new album, the SKZHIP HIPTAPE "HOP (合)," and its title track "Walkin On Water" on December 13.
On December 12, JYP Entertainment revealed the album's promotional schedule via Stray Kids' official social media channels, giving fans a comprehensive overview of their upcoming activities.
According to the schedule, the group will attend the "2024 Billboard Music Awards" airing at 10 AM (KST) today. They have been nominated for the second consecutive year and will also perform, further solidifying their presence as global performers.
Stray Kids will also connect with fans through a live countdown session and open a pop-up store running from December 14 to 22. The group continues its massive world tour with upcoming performances in Bangkok on December 14 and Jakarta on December 21.
Fans can look forward to various content releases, including a music video reaction, a behind-the-scenes making film, and additional self-produced content.
The new album represents a bold musical concept that fuses Stray Kids' initials, "SKZ," with hip-hop, creating a genre entirely unique to the group. This innovation aligns with the album's name, "HOP (合)," symbolizing unity among the eight members.
"HOP" features 12 tracks, including the title song, "Bounce Back," "U," "Walkin On Water (Hip Version)," and solo stages by each of the eight members. As with their previous works, the group's in-house production team, 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), along with all members, contributed to the songwriting and production, ensuring a distinct and authentic Stray Kids identity.
The album will officially be released on major music platforms at 2 PM KST today. Fans are eagerly awaiting this new chapter in Stray Kids' artistic journey.
