"Ready to go to the forbidden place."
The movie 'The Priests 2: Dark Nuns' (Director Kwon Hyuk-jae) released the 1st poster and launch trailer ahead of its release on the 12th. It foreshadows the new faces of actors Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin.
This is the second story of 'Black Priests', which opened a new chapter in Korean occultism. It depicts the story of people who participate in a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
The 1st poster shows Song Hye-kyo with strong eyes and Jeon Yeo-bin staring at the same place with curious eyes. The two are portrayed as nuns 'Yunia' and 'Michaela', respectively.
Yunia is a bold character who will do anything to save the boy. Michaela feels repulsion toward Yunia, but decides to lend her strength.
It showed off an intense visual in the midst of blazing fire. Here, the copy, "Ready to go to the forbidden place," encapsulated the play. It foreshadowed the difficult journey of the two nuns.
The trailer began with Sister 'Yunia' saying, "Have you heard of the 12 shapes?" It foreshadowed that Yunia and Michaela would confront the 12 shapes that had reappeared in Korea.
Song Hye-kyo completed Sister 'Yunia' with her unique presence and delicate expressiveness. Jeon Yeo-bin portrayed Sister 'Michaela' with great detail, having a chaotic inner self.
'The Priests 2: Dark Nuns' will hit theaters in the new year with a differentiated setting in which nuns who are prohibited from exorcisms perform rituals. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on the 24th of next month.
