BOYNEXTDOOR Sweeps Popularity in Japan, Earns Prestigious Award

On December 4, Yahoo Japan announced the winners of the Yahoo! Search Awards 2024, naming BOYNEXTDOOR as the recipient in the "Next Break Artist" category. They were the only overseas male artist to make the list, chosen based on data predicting a sharp rise in future search activity.

Yahoo Japan highlighted the group's debut in Japan with their single AND, released in July, and noted their appearances at major events like Summer Sonic 2024. Their exposure through music programs, variety shows, and magazine covers further fueled their popularity, resulting in a significant surge in search volume.

BOYNEXTDOOR's rising popularity in Japan is evident. Their debut single AND recently received Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). Additionally, their third mini-album, 19.99, topped the Oricon Weekly Chart, achieving a career-high with a 75% increase in sales compared to their previous release.

The group is set to kick off their first solo tour, KNOCK ON Vol.1, on December 14–15 at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
