BTS member V's collaboration with pop legend Bing Crosby has been unveiled.
According to BigHit Music, this partnership stemmed from V and Bing Crosby's unique connection, with Crosby's team initiating the project after recognizing V's admiration for the late artist.
V has openly cited Bing Crosby as one of his favorite musicians, even covering songs like "It's Been a Long, Long Time."
Crosby's agency, Primary Wave, commented, "We believed V would be the perfect artist to duet on 'White Christmas.'"
Explaining the song choice, they noted, "'White Christmas' is a universally beloved carol, and it felt natural to select it for a collaboration with V."
Originally released in 1942, "White Christmas" has been covered by pop stars like Michael Bublé and Taylor Swift. However, this marks the first time the song will be reimagined as a duet.
Describing the collaboration as transcending a strategic partnership, Primary Wave expressed satisfaction, stating, "V's passion and love for the duet made this project truly special."
They added, "The harmony between their voices will be stunning, and V's heartfelt interpretation is sure to resonate deeply with global music fans."
The duet "White Christmas" is set for release on December 6 at 2 PM KST.
