International media outlets have highlighted TWS' new song.

On the 26th (local time), the UK-based music magazine NME published a review titled "TWS' New Winter Song 'Last Festival': The Pinnacle of Melancholy from the Rookie Group."

The review analyzed TWS' musical identity, starting with their debut track, "First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned." The song was described as "bright and cheerful 'boyhood pop' that resonated instantly with the Korean audience."

Their new track, "Last Festival," received a 4 out of 5-star rating. NME praised the song, stating, "With sounds of fireworks and warm, dreamy synths, it feels like the starting point of a new journey for TWS."

The article went on to describe the song as "a curtain call of 2024, transitioning from the youthful drama of 'First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned' to a more melancholic sentiment." It highlighted the evolution and expansion of the group's musical style.

The original "Last Festival" is a reinterpretation of the hit song by Seo Taiji and Boys (1993). TWS reimagined it with a fresh emotional depth, adding sophisticated soundscapes and a poignant atmosphere to their arrangement.

NME noted that "the song carries an even heavier emotional weight than the original, blending nostalgic Afrobeat rhythms with delicate, wistful sounds that evoke both buoyancy and longing."

On November 25th, TWS released their debut single, "Last Bell," achieving a career-high milestone. The single sold 338,757 copies on its release day, and the music video surpassed 15 million views.

TWS is also set to embark on their music show promotions, beginning with an appearance on KBS-2TV's Music Bank on the same day.
