Actors Lee Jong-suk and Moon Ga-young will team up as senior and junior associate attorneys with nine and one year of experience, respectively.

tvN's new drama Seocho-dong (written by Lee Seung-hyun, directed by Park Seung-woo) announced its cast lineup on November 28. The series will feature Lee Jong-suk, Moon Ga-young, Kang Yoo-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Im Sung-jae.

Seocho-dong is a legal workplace drama set in Seoul's Seocho-dong district, known for its concentration of law firms. The story unfolds around associate attorneys working at different firms in the same building.

Writer Lee Seung-hyun is a practicing lawyer, adding realism to the script. Director Park Seung-woo, known for Kairos (MBC) and Adamas (tvN), is at the helm of the production.

The lead cast will play members of an associate attorneys' meal club called "Abyeon Just," portraying their lives filled with camaraderie, humor, and warmth amid the cold realities of legal battles in Seocho-dong.

Lee Jong-suk takes on the role of Ahn Joo-hyung, a senior associate attorney with nine years of experience. Having never changed firms, he's considered the most knowledgeable attorney and a go-to resource for his peers.

Moon Ga-young will play Kang Hee-ji, a passionate first-year associate attorney who dreams of becoming a lawyer dedicated to helping people. She believes that changing one life can change the world.

Kang Yoo-seok will portray Jo Chang-won, the group's lively chatterbox. Known for his extroverted personality, he treats work as if attending a fun social gathering, bringing joy wherever he goes.

Ryu Hye-young will play Bae Moon-jung, the practical leader of the group. Although tough on the outside, she is deeply affectionate and caring toward others.

Im Sung-jae will appear as Ha Sang-ki, an individualist who thrives in a capitalistic world. He finds joy in earning money and even runs a food blog. His unpredictable and multifaceted personality adds intrigue to the story.

The production team shared, "Seocho-dong will explore the growth and dilemmas of lawyers as they navigate various cases and clients. Each episode will deliver unique incidents and emotions, showcasing life's joys and sorrows."

Seocho-dong is set to premiere in the first half of 2025.
