BTS's Jin Dominates Billboard Charts with Solo Album 'Happy'
On November 26 (KST), Billboard announced its latest chart rankings (dated November 30), with Jin's first solo album Happy debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
The album also topped the World Albums chart and ranked No. 3 on Top Album Sales. Jin's global success with his solo debut highlights his immense popularity.
The title track Running Wild landed at No. 53 on the Hot 100 and ranked No. 4 and No. 5 on Global Excl. U.S. and Global 200, respectively. It also claimed No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. Other tracks from the album also charted, with the pre-released I'll Be There ranking at No. 29.
Additional tracks made strong entries on various charts: Heart on the Window (No. 99), Another Level (No. 142), Until I Reach You (No. 158), and Longing (No. 172).
Jin swept the top five spots on the World Digital Song Sales chart, a feat previously achieved by BTS members RM, Suga, and J-Hope.
Jimin and Jungkook's Billboard Success Continues
Jimin's Who ranked No. 45 on the Hot 100 and his album Muse charted at No. 158 on the Billboard 200, marking its 18th week on the chart. Who also ranked No. 16 on Global Excl. U.S., No. 21 on Global 200, and No. 33 on Streaming Songs, while Muse remained strong at No. 5 on the World Albums chart.
Jungkook's debut single Seven and solo album title track Standing Next to You ranked No. 78 and No. 196 on Global Excl. U.S., respectively. Notably, Seven extended its run on the Global 200 chart for 71 weeks, peaking at No. 133, setting a record as the longest-charting K-pop solo artist.
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, Standing Next to You received a Gold certification in streaming on November 27, surpassing 50 million cumulative streams as of October.
