Stray Kids' Hyunjin Graces Elle Cover and Reflects on His Journey
Stray Kids' Hyunjin recently collaborated with Elle magazine for a stunning photoshoot, followed by an in-depth interview.
Currently on the third world tour, dominATE, Hyunjin spoke about his evolving mindset on stage. "This year, I consciously attended other artists' concerts to learn about interacting with fans and live performance styles. My mindset has also changed—I realized that mistakes or anything else ultimately become memories, so I'm enjoying this tour more than ever," he shared, showcasing his passion for the stage.
Reflecting on the year's conclusion, Hyunjin mentioned, "We have activities lined up for the release of our second Japanese studio album, and we're also preparing new music for Korea. Above all, we still have year-end performances ahead, and I'm looking forward to presenting diverse stages."
When asked if he aims to showcase a different side of himself beyond his signature performances, Hyunjin replied, "For now, focusing on performance feels right. I still have a strong desire to hear that I'm good at what I do. Recently, I realized that this profession inherently involves constant feedback, good or bad. But every piece of feedback motivates me, and I believe I can keep improving."
Looking back on moments of warmth this year, Hyunjin highlighted Stray Kids' contract renewal. "I've learned everything, including how to treat people, from my members. We've always been close, but these days, I can't imagine life without them," he said, reflecting the group's strong bond.
Hyunjin's Super Elle cover, interview, and photoshoot can be found in the December issue of Elle and on its website. The accompanying interview film will also be available on Elle's YouTube channel.
