Min Hee-jin Resigns from ADOR, Plans Legal Action Against HYBE
On November 20, former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin announced through her legal representative, Sejong, that she has resigned from her position as a director at ADOR. She also stated her intention to terminate the shareholder agreement with HYBE and hold the company legally accountable for alleged breaches of contract.
Min declared, "I will take all necessary legal actions against HYBE and those involved for numerous illegal acts. The past seven months of disputes with HYBE, which began with their unlawful audit in April, have been nothing short of hell." She emphasized that she has made every effort to restore ADOR to its original state before the conflict began.
Expressing her frustration, she accused HYBE of fabricating baseless claims to justify their actions. "HYBE went as far as presenting absurd falsehoods to the public, parading their shameful and illegal audit for everyone to see," she said.
Min further alleged that HYBE likely knew the whistleblower's claims were truthful from the beginning but prioritized their own interests over resolving the issues at hand. "For those who value only their gain, addressing the root of the problem must have been an inconvenient burden," she remarked.
She also criticized HYBE for employing aggressive tactics, such as baseless lawsuits and unfair media campaigns, while simultaneously presenting her with a "producer delegation contract filled with toxic clauses."
Min concluded, "HYBE's moral decay has reached its peak, and I believe the public is now aware of their patterns. Nonetheless, I will not stand by if further defamatory attacks occur and will take legal action if necessary. I hope you will look forward to the new K-pop journey I will embark on."
Min Hee-jin's resignation follows months of escalating disputes with HYBE, drawing significant attention to what lies ahead for both parties.
