"'I've Been Waiting to Meet ARMY Since Returning!' BTS Jin Delivers Joy with Solo Showcase"

Jin, now back as a civilian Kim Seok-jin and BTS's eldest member, poured his heart out in a powerful 70-minute live band performance. Singing non-stop, he showcased his enhanced skills and mesmerized the audience with his vocal artistry.

The title track, Happy, was a perfect match for the occasion. Jin's smile never left his face as he sang passionately, his bright eyes connecting with the crowd. His youthful post-military visuals drew cheers from fans.

From start to finish, Jin showered love on ARMY. "I missed you so much, just as the other members still serving likely do. I was excited and nervous, and I'm grateful we're here together," he shared with heartfelt emotion.

"I believe greater happiness comes when we're together. This album was made for ARMY, and I'm here with a firm resolve to bring you joy!"

Jin held his fan showcase, Jin Happy Special Stage, on November 16-17 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul to celebrate the release of his solo album Happy.

◆ "Spreading Happiness"

"Two, three, Bangtan! This is BTS's Jin."

Fans, having missed Jin dearly, greeted him with thunderous cheers. Jin responded with a witty acrostic poem for "Happiness" (행복): "행(행복합니다). Thanks to all our ARMY. 복(복덩어리들, lucky charms)!" His playful words brought smiles to everyone.

"Shall we dive into happiness together?"

Jin kicked off the event with his new title track, Running Wild. The performance featured dynamic stage setups—one showing a typical office scene and the other showcasing him speeding away in a sports car, fully embodying the track's energetic vibe.

Taking on the role of host, Jin introduced his album through a self-made presentation titled "Created by Kim Seok-jin." He joked, "The dictionary definition of 'happy' is Kim Seok-jin," before earnestly adding, "But what truly makes me happiest is ARMY."

"I thought hard about what kind of music I wanted to share. I'm someone whose happiness depends on ARMY being happy. I decided I needed to make an album that would bring joy to you."

As he introduced the six tracks from his new album, fans sang along with enthusiasm. Jin laughed, saying, "You're better than me at this!" He shared that the track Longing For You was written while he was in the military, inspired by his feelings for ARMY.

"Right after I entered the military, I missed ARMY so much. That's how the title Longing For You came to be. I kept thinking, 'I want to perform, I really miss ARMY.' Those emotions became the song."

◆ "Happiness That Keeps Coming"

Jin serenaded the audience with the heartfelt Until I Reach You. For Heart on the Window, Red Velvet's Wendy made a surprise appearance, joining him for a stunning duet.

The two showcased impeccable harmony, building each note like a vocal powerhouse performance. Jin sang with passion, veins visible on his neck as he hit increasingly higher notes with precision.

"ARMY said they're happiest when they're watching Seokjin."

Jin kept the crowd engaged, hosting a fun "Happiness World Cup." Categories like "Perfectly performing No More Dreamat 60" and "Looking in the mirror for 24 hours" had everyone laughing.

Despite his usual shyness, Jin was playful and uninhibited in front of fans, joking back and forth. When fans chose the "60-year-old stage" as their favorite, he feigned disbelief, saying, "Unbelievable! Fine, ARMY, do whatever you want," with mock indignation.

For Longing For You, Jin sang while gazing lovingly at the audience, delivering heartfelt lines: "Words I scribbled hundreds of times a day, every day—I miss them so much. I'll come to you when the warm spring breeze blows."

"We've experienced so much happiness in our lives, haven't we? At times, I thought that was it, but there was another happiness beyond it, and then another after that. I believe more happiness will keep finding its way to us in the future."

I'll Be There brought the music video to life on stage. With an upbeat drumline, Jin delivered an energetic performance, amplified by the fans' chorus, creating a festive atmosphere.
