Stray Kids are expanding their musical genre.
On the 15th, Stray Kids announced on social media that they will release a new album, ‘SKZHOP HIPTAPE - 合(HOP),’ on December 13.
‘SKZHOP HIPTAPE’ combines Stray Kids’ initials, ‘SKZ,’ with ‘HIP-HOP,’ symbolizing a new genre defined uniquely by Stray Kids. This album will feature songs that represent their distinct musical style.
The title ‘合(HOP)’ represents the synergy achieved when all eight Stray Kids members unite, while also playing on the English word ‘HOP’ in ‘HIP-HOP,’ adding a layered meaning to the title.
‘SKZHOP HIPTAPE - 合(HOP)’ will be released on December 13 at 2 p.m. KST, and 0 a.m. EST. With this new release, Stray Kids are set to end the year on a high note.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids continue their world tour ‘dominATE.’ They recently performed at the Tokyo Dome on the 14th and will continue shows there from the 16th to the 19th.
