As the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) takes place today (14th), several stars born in 2006 who are not sitting for the exam have shared messages of support for students.
NewJeans' Hae-rin encouraged student fans in a video titled "NewJeans' 2025 CSAT Encouragement Message." She reminded them, "Make sure to double-check important items like your test ticket and ID." ADOR, Hae-rin's agency, announced on the 7th that she would not be taking the exam this year.
NMIXX's Kyujin also sent a message to support test-takers, saying, "Tomorrow is the day ANSER's efforts bear fruit. Don't stress too much; mental management is key." LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eun-chae added, "Dress warmly to avoid catching a cold on the day of the exam." Like her peers, Eun-chae chose her career over the exam.
TWS' Ji-hoon will miss the test due to his appearance in the Best Hit Song Festival in Japan, focusing instead on his November 25 debut single Last Bell. He shared, "With the test so close, you might feel anxious, but try to stay calm and take it as comfortably as possible."
Other stars, including Say My Name's Do-hee, FIFTY FIFTY's Ha-na, tripleS's Park Shi-on, Youngpossy's Jiana, Rescene's Liv, and All(H)ours' Hyun-bin, have opted to focus on their careers rather than taking the CSAT. Meanwhile, stars like BOYNEXTDOOR's Woon-hak, Ampers&One's Mackiah and Seung-mo, EVENS, 82Major's Kim Do-gyun, "Reigning King of Masked Singer" Jeon Yu-jin, and actors Kal So-won and Kim Su-an are taking the exam.
This year, 522,670 students registered for the CSAT, with 31% being repeat test-takers (N students), totaling 161,784. The exam began with the Korean subject at 8:40 AM, followed by Math (10:30-12:10), English (1:10-2:20), Korean History and Social/Science (2:50-4:37), and Second Foreign Language/Hanja (5:05-5:45 PM).
