Actor Kim Nam-gil is set to spread warmth through his charity show.
On December 7-8, Kim Nam-gil will host the *2024 SMG Show - The Ultimate Show*, introducing a new format for his signature charity event. Ticket sales open at 8 PM on November 12 through Ticketlink.
The *Ultimate Show*, now in its third year, is Korea’s first signature charity show where enjoying a performance directly contributes to donations. Under the title *ActorCon*, actors volunteer their talents for a good cause.
Close actor friends of Kim Nam-gil will join, promising a variety of performances filled with laughter and emotion.
Kim Nam-gil, head of the cultural NGO Gil Story, shared, “This year, we aim to raise 100 million KRW through performance proceeds to support children and teens in crisis. We are preparing hard, so please show your interest.”
Kim Nam-gil has a history of quiet philanthropy. In 2019, he launched the first *Kim Nam-gil’s Ultimate Show*, donating all proceeds to support public arts campaigns.
Actors Park Sung-woong, Uhm Jung-hwa, Joo Ji-hoon, Lee Sang-yeob, Go Kyu-pil, Yoon Moon-suk, Kim Min-seok, and entertainer Hwang Je-sung participated, drawing an audience of over 4,000 people.
In December 2022, the second charity show featured stars such as Jung Woo-sung, Park Sung-woong, Jung Man-sik, Cha Chung-hwa, Go Kyu-pil, Kim Jun-han, Lim Si-wan, as well as Professor Kwon Il-yong, Baek Jong-won, and Han Jae-duk.
Proceeds from that event supported the *Animal Companion Campaign*, which promotes animal rights and provides care for abused animals. This year, Kim Nam-gil once again embraces the holiday season with a spirit of giving.
