TOMORROW X TOGETHER Dominates Japan's Music Charts with New Release
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has taken Japan by storm, reaching the top of major charts with their latest mini-album, The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY. According to Oricon's latest data (as of November 4), the album debuted at No. 1 on the Daily Album Ranking, selling 112,713 copies on its first day, surpassing local groups like Snow Man and Inuwashi.
This marks TXT's tenth No. 1 on the chart, continuing a streak that began with their 2020 mini-album The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY and extending through their previous release, Minisode 3: TOMORROW.
Fans are now watching to see if TXT will break their own record for the highest number of consecutive No. 1 albums by a foreign artist on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking, where they currently hold the record with 10.
The title track Over The Moon also entered the charts, securing No. 2 on the Daily Digital Single Ranking, marking the highest position for a K-pop group song that day. Additionally, album tracks like Heaven and Higher Than Heavendominated the top five on AWA's real-time chart.
TXT will kick off music show promotions on November 8 with a performance on KBS-2TV's Music Bank.
