Jin, a member of BTS, recently shared a humorous anecdote about his military discharge day, revealing that some of his bandmates arrived late, leaving him waiting.
On October 23, the Dongne Star K channel released a teaser video featuring Jin. The video, titled "Thank You, ARMY, for Shouting Out to World Star Jin on DongSke," highlighted Jin's witty personality and teased fun behind-the-scenes stories about BTS, raising excitement for the full episode.
When host Jonathan asked, "BTS is known for being like family, right?" Jin affectionately responded, "We've spent almost 12 years together. We've basically been glued to each other."
Jonathan then mentioned a memorable detail from Jin's discharge day, saying, "I heard RM even played the saxophone for your discharge." Jin recalled the moment, explaining, "Some of the members came straight from their military units. Some showed up in uniform, and others, who were on leave, wore civilian clothes."
Jonathan expressed admiration for the group's dedication, noting, "It's amazing they all showed up on time." Jin, however, responded with a playful grin, "I actually had to wait. The kids were late," sparking laughter with his lighthearted complaint.
When asked if he had any advice for the members still serving in the military, Jin quipped, "That's the wrong question. None of them are close to discharge yet—there are still hundreds of days to go. But there is one member who has a long way to go," showing his playful side. Jonathan laughed, remarking, "You sound just like one of my friends."
The full episode featuring Jin will be released on October 29, giving fans more insight into his life and his unique sense of humor.
