Seventeen tops Japan's Oricon and Billboard Japan charts

Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has once again proven their immense popularity in Japan by dominating major local album charts.

According to Japan's Oricon on the 24th, Seventeen's 12th mini album "SPILL THE FEELS" claimed the top spot on the latest weekly combined album ranking (as of October 28 / tracking period from October 14 to 20). The group has now achieved 13 number-one rankings on the Oricon chart, setting a new record for the most number-one wins by a foreign artist.

Oricon’s weekly combined album ranking calculates the overall score by combining CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming numbers. Seventeen amassed a total of 417,000 points, including 410,000 CD sales. Oricon noted, “This surpasses the record set by their best album 17 IS RIGHT HERE released in April, marking the highest weekly points achieved by a foreign artist this year.”

Seventeen also took over Billboard Japan’s major charts. They secured the number-one position on the latest Hot Albums (tracking period from October 14 to 20) and Top Albums Sales charts, making it their 14th time topping both. Additionally, they achieved their ninth number-one on the Artist 100 chart for the same period and landed at number three on the Download Albums chart.

Released on October 14, "SPILL THE FEELS" is the only K-pop album this year to surpass 3 million sales within its first week, highlighting Seventeen’s incredible album power. The album’s title track, "LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)," continues to rank high on major music charts in both Korea and Japan. On October 23, the group secured first place on MBC M’s Show! Champion, kicking off their music show trophy streak.

On October 22 (local time), Seventeen launched their SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN US with a concert at the Rosemont Allstate Arena in Chicago. The group captivated the audience with over 20 performances, expressing their gratitude: “We are thrilled that you’ve welcomed us to the U.S. with such energy. Seventeen is most perfect with all 13 members. Please enjoy and hold your place until we return to Chicago.”

Following another concert at the same venue on the 23rd, Seventeen will continue their tour in New York, Texas, Oakland, and Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, the group will also present Seventeen The City, a city-style concert that integrates their performance content and intellectual property with local infrastructure. The SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR will also extend to four major domes in Japan and several key cities across Asia.
