A public sighting of BTS's Jungkook during his military service has been revealed.

On October 21, a video of Jungkook, who is currently serving in the military, began circulating online, drawing significant attention.

In the video, Jungkook is seen at a restaurant, warmly smiling while signing an autograph. Even in his military service, Jungkook's flawless idol-like appearance remains unchanged.

Toward the end of the video, Jungkook says, "I’m even more grateful," as he offers a handshake to the fan who requested his autograph. He bows politely, leaving a lasting warm impression.

Fans who watched the video commented, "He is really kind and sweet," and "His eyes and expression are so warm."

Jungkook enlisted alongside fellow member Jimin in December last year and is currently serving in the 5th Infantry Division. His discharge date is set for June 2025.

Earlier, Jin completed his service in June, followed by J-Hope, who was discharged on the 17th of this month. After his discharge, J-Hope expressed, "I’m grateful to have completed my service in good health, thanks to the fans. Your support allowed me to get through it safely."

J-Hope added, "For 18 months, soldiers work hard to protect the country. The interest and love from the public give their service even greater meaning." He concluded with, "Thank you for your immense support, encouragement, and love. I’m proud to say I completed my service healthily. Loyalty!" and gave a spirited salute.

Despite being in the military, Jungkook's popularity remains unwavering. According to Billboard, his songs 'Seven' and 'Standing Next to You' have remained on the charts for 65 and 49 weeks, respectively.
