Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si will showcase a "kitchen romance" in the upcoming drama "Your Taste".
On October 17, KT Studio Genie announced, "The production of Your Taste (created by Han Jun-hee, written by Jung Soo-yoon, and directed by Park Dan-hee) has been confirmed. Kang Ha-neul, Go Min-si, Kim Shin-rok, and Yoo Su-bin have officially joined the cast, and filming has begun."
The drama tells the story of Han Beom-woo, heir to a large food company, and Mo Yeon-joo, a passionate chef running a one-table restaurant without a signboard in a small town. The plot revolves around the two protagonists managing a small restaurant in Jeonju, growing together and falling in love along the way.
Kang Ha-neul will play Han Beom-woo, a man operating one of Seoul's top fine-dining establishments but indifferent to the concept of "taste." Meanwhile, Go Min-si takes on the role of Mo Yeon-joo, a chef obsessed with flavor. The drama highlights their clash of backgrounds and culinary philosophies.
Kim Shin-rok and Yoo Su-bin will play supporting roles, portraying Jin Myung-sook, a top employee at a popular local soup restaurant, and Shin Chun-seung, a careless local influential figure. "The casting is rock-solid, with no weak links among the main and supporting actors," the production team commented.
Han Jun-hee, known for 'D.P.' and 'Weak Hero Class 1', serves as the creator, collaborating with writer Jung Soo-yoon and director Park Dan-hee, both of whom have previously worked on youth-focused dramas like 'Juvenile Delinquency' and 'Weak Hero Class 1'.
