Aespa's Karina and Giselle Issue Stern Warning to Sasaeng Fans
On October 15, aespa's Karina and Giselle conducted a live broadcast via social media, where they directly addressed sasaeng fans who crossed the line. The broadcast started off in a light-hearted and friendly manner, with the two members playfully greeting fans, saying "Good morning" and sharing that they were simply bored and decided to go live.
However, mid-broadcast, the sound abruptly cut off, causing both members to appear startled. It was soon revealed that the interruption was caused by a phone call from a sasaeng fan.
Visibly annoyed, Giselle asked, "Who are you? What do you want?" while both members firmly warned the individual by looking at the camera and saying, "Don't do that."
Karina, who was also frustrated, explained that it was an international call and firmly raised her fist, saying, "Stop it." Giselle added, "It's unpleasant," further expressing their discomfort with the intrusion.
After giving the warning, the two quickly shifted the mood by reading fans' comments and continuing their interaction, bringing the broadcast back to a more positive atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Aespa is set to make their comeback on October 21 with the release of their fifth mini-album Whiplash on various music platforms at 6 PM KST.
